Antique Bottles Jars Glass and Sterling Silver  SPECIAL OFFER. A set of four heavy cut glass antique jars with the screw-on and push-on solid sterling silver tops, comprising two tubular bottles together with two circular boxes coming from a smart travelling set. The jars' body cut with an attractive panel cut pattern with a beveled foot. The bottles and a small box have a matching design tops. The smallest, miniature box has a smooth push on top with a panel cut body without a foot. All the tops bear a full set of hallmarks, two tops have the cork-lined interior. A very smart set of containers for a multitude of daily uses. Perfect for putting cotton wool buds, pills, trinkets, or other small items.

The smallest miniature box - maker's mark WA, anchor of the Birmingham Assay Office where this silver item was verified, lion passant identifies sterling silver, date letter "C" identifies year 1927. R577,65

Small jar box - journeyman mark, maker's mark London, 925 GM sterling. R765,00

Medium bottle - maker's mark rubbed and not identified, anchor of the Birmingham Assay Office, lion passant identifies sterling silver, date letter "k" identifies year 1909. R936,74

Measures: Large bottle is 13 cm high and 3.5 cm in diameter across the base. Medium bottle is 9.5 cm high and 4 cm in diameter across the base. Small jar box is 4.3 cm high and 5 cm in diameter across the base. The smallest box is 3 cm high and 3.8 cm in diameter across the base.


Condition: Great. Glass intact. Silver tops have some dents commensurate with age, the rest is in very good order. The large bottle was previously used for storing perfume and still has a hint of fragrance. All l charcoal substance formed on silver is normal removable patina.





Returns. I gladly accept returns in the unlikely event that you are not thrilled with your item. You get a full refund of the purchase price up until the end of day 7 of receiving your order. Simply return the item to me in its original condition, shown in photos. The cost of returning the item using a door-to-door courier service is buyer's responsibility. Delivery or postal charges are non-refundable.
