Title: Set of 6 Ted Hoefsloot Watermill Prints. Info: Unframed. Set of Watermill drawings, Reproduction prints. Suitable for framing. The following Colour Watermill Prints. Watermills of South Africa. 1. Caversham, Natal. Situated on the Lion's River, built in 1858 and restored in 1979. 2. Prince Albert, Cape Province. Erected in 1820 by Botes, declared a National Monument in 1965 and continued to work until 1970. (This print had some paper damage on the borders but the picture itself could be framed.) 3. La Motte, Franschoek, Cape Province. Built 1721 and restored by Dr Anton Rupert with parts from Matjies River near Ceres. 4. Bradshaws, Bathurst, Eastern Province. Named after Samuel bradshaw, a weaver who was a leader of a party of 1820 Settlers from Gloucestershire, building started in December 1821 and eventually became the cornerstone of the SA Wool industry. 5. Elim, Cape Province. The mill was built in 1828, original wooden machinery replaced in 1881, and is now a national monument. 6. Mamre, Cape Province. Built by Leidig and Busse in 1844.
