ANTIQUE SET OF MEERSCHUM "PIPES" PRESENTED IN THE ORIGINAL CASE. MY FEELING IS THAT THESE PIPES WERE USED BY LADIES AS THEY ARE SMALL AND DAINTY OR PERHAPS USED BY A YOUNG MAN AS A " STARTER SET " BOTH HAVE BEEN USED AND HAVE COLOURING TYPICAL OF MEERSCHUM PIPES. THE MOUTH PIECES ARE MISSING AND THE TOP OF WHAT I THINK IS A CHEROOT HOLDER IS LOOSE, I HAVE CHOSEN TO LEAVE THIS AS IS, ALTHOUGH LOOSE IT IS NOT DAMAGED. THE ENLARGED, CLOSE UP PICTURES SHOW EVERY BLEMISH TO THESE PIPES WHICH ARE HARDLY VISABLE WITH THE NAKED EYE.
