An unusual set of six silver coffee spoons, based on the design of a Roman spoon that discovered around this period. The round bowls are thought to be for eating eggs, and the sharp pick like terminals to remove flesh from shell fish. The coffee spoons were assayed in Birmingham in 1928, they measure 9,5cm, weigh 34 grams and are in good condition.
