Illustrated with what appears to be copies of pencil drawings.

Volume 2 (World Books, 1939) 

Both books are tightly bound with no loose pages or tears. 

No dustjackets, cream colour covers with insignia to the front 

and title/author to the spine. 

Volume 2 has wear-mark to bottom front cover and very slight foxing to 

one of the front fly-leaf pages, otherwise crisp & clean throughout.

Volume 1 appears to have no significant faults, other than a slightly

soiled front cover board, and some mild age-related shelf-rubbing.
