Shadow of Colussus (PS2) Original - Brand New & Sealed

A game from the same studio that brought us Ico and easily snaps up full 10's in each category.

Wanda (yes, the male character) brings his mysterious female partner (it is not clear whether she is his friend, wife or sister) and trusty horse, Agro, to the Forbidden Valley - a place where he might be able to bring her back to life.
A mysterious entity, Dormin, communicates with Wanda that the only way to bring her back is by destroying each of the sixteen colossi that inhabit the Forbidden Valley.

While single-player only, the game can easily entertain a group of people - it is simply that stunning and engrossing to watch. Wanda uses reflected sunglight from his sword to help him hunt down each colossus while traversing vast landscapes on horseback.
His only weapons against the colossi are his sword, bow & arrows and his horse. A strong grip and powers of observation don't hurt, either.

Defeating each colossus is rigged so you not only feel the triumph of victory, but a small bit of guilt as well - one is made to almost feel sorry for the beasts.

In short, the overall experience is unmissable. Games with this attention to detail and similar scenic beauty are not in ready supply.
