Very well known brand Wedgewood is and this is 1 of the few Wedgewood plates that will be on this May Auction ! This plate is for the Characters mentioned in Shakespears Plays & Books. This plate has the names of each character shown on the plate such as Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth and King Lear to just name a few.The middle of the plate depicts the stage that Shakespear erected and used for his plays. This plate is in pristine condition. The measurements are : 25.cm long.
