1800's - BURGUNDY binding / "Gold leaf edging" - VERY RARE

What an unique opportunity to own this VERY RARE Shakespeare collection from the 1800's. A "MUST-HAVE" for the real dedicated Collector.

On offer is a Complete set (13 x Volumes) of Shakespeare's ("Shakspeare") HANDY-VOLUME collection, dating from the late 1800's and still in its original presentation box. The individual books (volumes) are still in exceptional condition inside and out, considering its age, with one or two volumes showing slight marks on cover edges. The burgundy colored (binding) edition is VERY RARE and seldom comes up for sale. This specific set was printed by BRADBURY, AGNEW & Co., LD. from London. The original box shows some marks and signs of storage over time on the outside, but is still intact and in quite good condition on the inside. Please have a look at all the pictures below as they form part of the description and shows the general condition of the item.
