The Sharp AL-2060 desktop, black and white, multifunction printer provides the small volume user with a powerful solution with the ability to print, copy, scan and fax and create professionally finished documentation with ease. Designed with cost efficiency and productivity in mind, the machine has an auto-start function and an 8 second first copy ready time, allowing for speedy print runs with minimal down time.
Paper formats can be accommodated from A6-A4 (paper weights from 56-128g/m2) at print speeds of 26ppm (pieces per minute).
With a 300 sheet paper capacity and duplex printing as standard, this fast and productive model delivers a powerful office solution for its size, having a footprint of just 518 x 452 x 371mm and weighing 24.2kg.
Other benefits include network printing and colour scanning, while the electronic sorting (which will collate multiple copies in page order) and Reversing Single Pass Document Feed help the customer to save energy, time and reduce costs.
Clean, crisp printing is delivered through 600 x 600dpi (dots per inch) resolution and a zoom capacity of 25-400% allows for high quality text and imaging.
The Text/Photo mode automatically recognises the differential between text and photographs in any documentation and will adjust the copy contrast for optimum results.
Sharp have incorporated a number of innovative features in the AL-2060 including the Scan Once Print Many application which will store scanned originals into the memory and produce up to 99 copies of each page.
Environmental issues have not been overlooked in this Energy Star accredited machine, with the Auto Power Shut-Off feature and the Preheat mode which will deactivate the heat roller to reduce energy consumption. Another addition is the Toner Save mode which will reduce the density of the toner when it is copying, thereby prolonging the cartridge life and saving costs.
