This auction is for the sharpening stone in the pictures. Since I am not all that familiar with sharpening and honing stones, I'll do the best I can with the description.

No reserve, fair starting price for this interesting stone. This is an auction and has no Buy-it-now option.

Funny shaped, not sure if this is a composite or a natural stone. I thought initially it had an oil stain (see pic) but, the more I looked at it and lapped it, it rather seems like a natural colour variation of the stone. You decide. Seems flat enough for use. I am of the opinion, comparing with the other listed stones, this is a fine grit stone, though not a honing grit. Have not tried it out myself. Buyer to perform additional cleaning and lapping, should he require that. It appears to be in good condition. Can't say if the previous owner used oil or water because I don't see stains or clogging. Looks like water but please study the pictures. Got a batch of stones from a cutthroat user and they normally use water. Stone dimensions are about 160x55x33mm. Apologies for my vague description but the stone seems quite useable.

Unfortunately no pick-up of items. I will combine shipments, if requested (auctions within a reasonable period), but this may cost more depending on weight.

Shipping will be R40 in South Africa. All items will be properly packed. I am not responsible for any damages by the post office that happens during transit.
