Sharpening stone

This auction is for the sharpening stone in the pictures. Since I am not very familiar with sharpening and honing stones, I'll do the best I can with the description.

No reserve, fair starting price for this stone. This is an auction and has no Buy-it-now option.

Once again, thicker than most other stones, not sure if this is a composite or a natural stone. I started to lap this stone a bit halfheartedly and then decided to leave it to the Buyer. This thing is hard and fine although not honing fine, but still, its not a Black Arkansas stone. And I don't know what slate looks like. I would lean to fine composite but perhaps I'm wrong. Please study the pictures and then you decide. It appears to be in good condition apart from the very slight hollows. The previous owner must have used oil because there are both sides stains and a bit light clogging. Stone dimensions are about 150x50x24mm. Apologies for my vague description but the stone seems quite nice, saveable and useable.

Unfortunately no pick-up of items. I will combine shipments, if requested (auctions within a reasonable period), but this may cost more depending on weight.

Shipping will be R40 in South Africa. All items will be properly packed. I am not responsible for any damages by the post office that happens during transit.
