Up for auction is a Sheaffer Fountain pen.
The pen looks to be in good condition and is part of the Sheaffer Lifetime range.
The body of the pen is made of resin? And had a Tigers eye appearance. The cap is of the fluted variety and is stamped: “Sheaffer’s Made in USA”. The body of the pen is stamped: “W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co. Fort Madison, Iowa, USA. Patented in USA”.
The nib of the pen is marked: “Sheaffer’s Lifetime Reg. US Pat. Off. Made in USA 14K”
It seems that the nib of the pen could be 14Ct gold. The pen and plunger system seem to be in perfect working order.
