Signed and dated 1950 in the painting. Sheila Walton has painted a traditional Sicilian mandolin player with his traditional cap and waistcoat and neck tie.  Captures the evening light on the musician beautifully with skillful painting, Very good condition frame. All in excellent condition.

Painting is 30 cm x 39 cm. Frame is 43 cm x 53 cm .

The original 1950 price is at the back 8 pounds and 8 shillings. According to the measuring worth dot com website, the 2024 value of this sum is 363.50 pounds!

So a lot more than the price I am selling this for!
