Sherlotronics BUSRX 403.55MHz Texecom Premier Bus Line Wireless Receiver

The Sherlotronics BUSRX Premier BUS Line Wireless Receiver adds Sherlotronics remote-control functionality to a compatible Texecom Premier alarm panel. Designed for alarm installers and property owners upgrading an existing security system, it allows compatible remotes to control functions such as arm, stay arm and disarm through the panel. The receiver also includes an onboard relay that can be configured for an auxiliary hardwired function.

• Adds remote control to your alarm panel. Compatible remote commands are communicated directly to a supported Texecom Premier panel through its COM port.
• Protects transmissions with code hopping. The 403.55 MHz code-hopping format changes the transmitted code during use, providing better protection than basic fixed-code remote systems.
• Supports multiple users. Up to 32 compatible remotes can be enrolled, making the receiver suitable for homes, offices and other sites with several authorised users.
• Provides useful alarm commands. Compatible remotes can be configured for functions such as arm, stay arm, disarm and panic according to the panel programming.
• Includes a separate relay output. The onboard normally open and normally closed relay contacts can be used for an auxiliary function such as a gate, garage door or hardwired panic input.
• Offers selectable relay operation. Jumper settings provide 1-second, 3-second or latching relay operation to suit the connected equipment.
• Designed for practical reception range. The manufacturer specifies up to 150 m in unobstructed line-of-sight conditions, although walls, metal cabinets and radio interference can reduce the working range.
• Powered by the alarm panel. The receiver operates from an 8 V to 16 V DC supply and connects using the supplied communication harness.

Compatibility & Remote Support

Designed for compatible Texecom Premier alarm panels with the required communication port enabled. It operates at 403.55 MHz and must be paired with compatible Sherlotronics code-hopping transmitters on the same frequency.

Sherlotronics TX4 remotes are shown in the manufacturer documentation, while current supplier information also references the Sherlotronics TX6 Icon remote. Panel, firmware and remote compatibility should be confirmed before purchase. This receiver is not compatible with 433.92 MHz remotes.

Did You Know?

• The BUSRX does more than provide a basic relay pulse. Compatible transmitters can be enrolled as panel user codes, allowing remote commands to interact directly with the alarm panels arm, stay arm and disarm functions.
• The onboard relay can be programmed separately from the commands sent to the alarm panel. This allows a spare remote button to operate another hardwired function when the system has been correctly wired and configured.
• A steel alarm-panel cabinet can shield radio signals and reduce operating range. Sherlotronics recommends positioning the receiver outside the panels metal chassis for better reception.
