Shimano FX4000FB and FX2500FB

 



The FX2500FB has a 4.6:1 gear ratio and holds 183 metres of 3kg nylon monofilament, while its bigger brother, the FX4000FB, has the same gear ratio and takes 219 metres of 4kg nylon monofilament. 

The XT7 frame is light in weight and, coupled with the aluminium spool, means the reel is particularly good for children to use when just starting out in fishing.

These reels were never fished but used as demo models. The black plastic caps are missing as per the picture but the screws are tight and handles on both reels are well secured for normal reel operation.
