The Charles Hamilton is one of two steam tugs built by Gilbert and Hamer Durban 1945/1946 for the SAR& H and served the Port Elizabeth harbour until 1976 when it was scuttled of the PE coast. 

Picture below is of actual bell and photo is ex Marsh Research Cape Town. PE ore berth in the background.

Sale includes the clapper for the bell and the photo (much sharper image) will be emailed to the purchaser.
