SHIRLI GEERE (SA 20th C) AMAZING FRAMED WATERCOLOR STILL LIFE ON RICE PAPER - SIGNED AND STAMPED

Shirli was taught Sumie Japanese brushwork Art more than 20 years ago. She paints on rice paper and other hand made paper, board and canvas. She has involved the heaven man earth symbols in composition in her work and has skillfully utilized this ancient art form with a modern decorative approach.  Her work was sold locally in Southern Africa and offshore.  She was regularly commissioned to do work outside of her usual exhibitions over the years.
