KYB aftermarket shock absorbers are manufactured using the same factories and technology as for OE. The valving is updated to allow for the fact that the shock absorbers will be fitted to a vehicle with other worn suspension components; in order to restore the ride as close as possible to how the vehicle was when it was brand new. This means that KYB aftermarket products are the same as OE supply.

Warranty Policy
This warranty is limited to 3 years or 100 000 km's from the date of fitment, whichever occurs first. Warranty on medium, heavy duty and public transport vehicles limited to 1 year or 50 000 km's from date of fitment.
Warranty only applies within the warranty period and when proof of purchase and mileage is verified by the original purchaser.
The following will not be covered by the warranty:
- Components fitted other than what is specified in the South African KYB catalogue.
- Accident damaged components.
- Any modifications to suspension outside of the original manufacturer's specifications.
- No fitment of bump stops or protection kits.
- Vehicles used outside of normal road conditions.
- Installation damage
