Shogun became the koi food of choice in South Africa with their new formula high protein pellets that do not sink.

Some people rate it at the same level as Hikari, and a large number of koi experts in the country use only Shogun, or Sakura, which is basically the same product but with 10% spirulina added.

It has been developed by Chris Neaves, the well known Koi Nutrition fundi in South Africa.
