In his new title, he writes with the same honesty and humour about his memories of the rebellious Voelvry movement, a rock 'n roll movement by a group of musicians that jolted many Afrikaans people out of their known certainties. As the movement gained momentum during their countrywide tour they won the Afrikaans youth over to their struggle against the government and apartheid.
