Lovely oblong Shorter & Son dish with handles, measuring 280 x 190.

For the collector : Marked Genuine Staffordshire, Hand-painted, Shorter & Son, England, with lovely raised fruit detail.

The only damage to this dish is one of the handles that seems to have been glued - there is no glue residue, only hairline crack faintly visible from the top and visible at the bottom.  There is also a small chip on the same side as the glued handle. This does not detract from the beauty of this piece at all.
