This dramatic piece features multi strands of natural earth-mined, mainly unfaceted, but softly polished natural tourmaline in different colours. One of the most alluring aspects of tourmaline is that it comes in such a beautiful soft and varied palette of earthy colours. This necklace features predominantly rosy pink and luscious purple stones with a few moss greens and creams. Freshwater pearls are added to the mix, on the main part of the fringe and all the way around to the clasp. They add a fresh, lucent accent to the gemstones. The soft iridescence of the seed pearls with the colour and polish of the tourmalines creates a beautiful shiny affect that catches the eye just perfectly. The neckpiece measures 45cm and the 'fringe' of the piece is 80mm deep. The piece weighs 83 grams which means it sits flat against the neck. The lobster catch is sterling silver, hallmarked 925 and there is a little silver extender chain giving you a couple of length options when you wear the piece. It is a truly sumptuous affair that would be a spectacular main feature to any outfit. The fringe is fairly long at 80mm deep and it is reassuringly weighty at 83 grams but it lies nice and flat so you don't feel that it is overwhelming or bulky to wear.
