Complementing the imaging capabilities, the Lens sports a Hyper Sonic Motor to produce quick, smooth, and quiet Auto-focus performance with full-time manual Focus override.
An Optical Stabilizer System minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to Four Stops to benefit making sharper imagery when Shooting handheld.
The physical Design utilizes Thermally Stable Composite material for durability in a wide Range of environments, and a Brass Bayonet Mount also offers rigidity and mounting precision.

This Standard Zoom Lens is designed for FX-format Nikon F-mount cameras, however, it can also be used with DX models where it will provide a 36-105mm equivalent Focal Length Range.
