About the lens

This is a versatile, fast aperture telephoto lens suitable for both digital and film Canon SLR cameras. Two ELD glass elements reduce chromatic aberration to a minimum and also ensure sharp, quality images of high contrast.

The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) provides fast, quiet and accurate autofocus which can be manually overridden at any time.

The lens comes complete with skylight and polarizing filters, lens hood and Sigma carry case.

Lens Condition

This lens has had fairly light use over the past five years and has no scratches or marks on any of the lens elements. The lens hood and a few small sections of the body show minor marks of wear, but you would have to look hard to spot them.

The lens itself is in perfect working order. I'll be sorry to let it go, but as I'm upgrading things this is surplus to requirements. Grab a bargain - this lens would sell for R35,000 brand new and a Canon version for nearer R50,000!
