Telephoto zoom lenses with excellent cost performance and optimized for use with digital SLR cameras. It will auto-focus on all Nikon cameras, including the D40, D40x, D60, D3000 and D5000.
Capable of macro photography, this lens has a 1:2 maximum close-up magnification at the 300 mm focal length. It iÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂs the ideal high performance lens for portraits, sports photography, nature photography, and other types of photography that frequently use the telephoto range. It also has a switch for changeover to macro photography at focal lengths between 200mm and 300mm with a maximum close-up magnification from 1:2.9 to 1:2.SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass in this lens provides excellent correction of chromatic aberration.
New coating reduces Ghost and Flare.
The new multi layer lens coating and lens design reduce flare and ghost, which is a common problem with digital cameras and also creates an optimum color balance through the entire zoom range.
SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass
We used SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass in this lens for excellent correction of chromatic aberration. This also corrects for fluctuation of aberration due to focusing. High optical performance is demonstrated throughout the entire zoom range.
Macro shooting with maximum magnification 1:2
It is capable of macro photography with a 1:2 maximum close-up magnification at the 300mm focal length. The minimum focusing distance is 1.5 m/59 inches at all zoom settings. It also has a switch for changeover to macro photography at focal lengths between 200mm and 300mm with a maximum close-up magnification from 1:2.9 to 1:2 and a minimum focusing distance of 95cm (37.4 inches).
Without changing the distance between camera and subject, you can change the shooting magnification.

WARRANTY
We warrant to the original end-user purchaser, when delivered in new condition in its original container, that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Any faulty product should be returned to our office in Naboomspruit, South Africa and if proven to be defective upon inspection will, at our sole discretion and without charge, be (a) repaired utilizing new, remanufactured, repaired and/or recycled parts; (b) exchanged for a new Product or; (c) exchanged for a refurbished Product, as determined by the repair facility. Warranty exchange or replacement does not extend the original warranty period of the Product.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY ACCESSORIES.
We can also supply additional Mack World Wide warranties, ranging from extension of the standard warranty conditions by the manufacturer, to Diamond coverage which is more like an insurance policy, covering even impact damage, water damage etc.
TRANSFER OF RISK
We remain the owner of the item until it has been collected/delivered, and as such are responsible for loss or damage in transit. If a parcel is collected from the Post Office or delivered by a courier and you suspect that it is damaged or tampered with, do not accept delivery and notify us. You will be refunded or a replacement unit in similar condition sent without delay.
