Signatures of 153 Springbok rugby players from the amateur era: 1937-1989 See details below

This lot consist of the signatures of 153 Springboks from the amateur era of rugby: including that of Springbok Howard Watt (1937); Springbok legends from the 1949 series against the All Blacks: Cecil Moss, Tjol Lategan, Ryk van Schoor, Willem Barnard.

The signatures of various Springbok captains: Des van Jaarsveldt (currently the oldest living Springbok); Johan Claassen, Abe Malan, Tom Bedford, Hannes Marais, Morne du Plessis, Wynand Claassen, Theuns Stoffberg, Divan Serfontein.

Also Wilf Rosenberg, Clive Ulyate, Jan de Preez, Pat Montini, PW Howe, Chris de Nysschen, John Wessels,  John Gainsford, Hambley Parker, Jan Ellis, Gert Muller, Joggie Jansen, Piston van Wyk, Ian McCullum;  Jannie Engelbrecht, Wang Wyness, Gertjie Brynard, Paul Bayvel, Martiens Louw, Theo Sauermann and many more.

Including Springboks who now live abroad: Alan Menter, Shaun Povey, Willie du Plessis

78 of these 153 Springboks are deceased.

The signatures are on self-adhesive labels, which with the passing of time, may have lost some of its adhesive properties. Two or three of these signatures are signed on the reverse side of the label.

CONDITIONS OF SALE, PAYMENT & SHIPMENT

1. No pick-ups allowed.

2. No international payments; No international shipments.

South African shipment: R30 for orders of R100 or more

No South African Post Office shipments.

3. Risk of non-delivery/loss/damage is that of purchaser. Seller will provide tracking number to purchaser. Purchaser to lodge enquiry/complaint directly with shipping company. Seller will not engage with shipping agent on purchasers behalf in lodging complaints/claims etc.

4. International buyers: No PayPal facility available; kindly use BoB Bucks.

5. Purchases to be finalised and paid for within 48 hours after closing of auction/sale. Items will be dispatched once the lockdown has been lifted.

6. All Bidders (including bidders on behalf of third parties) are personally liable for payment to seller.

7. Cash deposits require an additional R15 to cover bank charges.
