Jo Roos (1926 - 2010) was a South African sculptor and painter. He is best known for the busts he made of former heads of state, One of his masterpieces is the bronze panel with scenes from the First World War that adorns the SA War Museum in France. He also held exhibitions in Germany and in the USA. Some of his sculpture and painting are today part of permanent exhibitions in several other countries such as Switzerland, England and more.
