STRIKING SHONA ZIMBABWE HANDCRAFTED AFRICAN IRON WOOD BUST. THIS WOODEN BUST IS SIGNED SHADU TO THE SIDE WHICH I ASSUME IS THE ARTISTS NAME. IT STANDS 36CM HIGH AND DEPICTS A SHONA MAN. REALISTICALLY CARVED TO LIFE SIZE - YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT ITS LIFELIKE FEATURES.
 
Shona carvers from Zimbabwe are some ofthe most talented carvers in the word and this caving shows the talent that they have. This Shona bust is from the town Bulawayo in Zimbabwe were Iron woodis commonly available. The bust weigh 4.2 kg's and stand 36 cm in height.
 
These Iron wood busts are large and very sort after. Each African handcrafted bust is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece.
