Signed and dated (1979) Linocut, (30.5 x 23cm) by SA Old Master Gregoire Boonzaier (1909-2005) - UNFRAMED. He was the founding member of the Association of Arts and received a medal from the South African Arts & Sciences in 1958. He received Honorary Doctorates from: The University of the Free State (1980) and the University of the Western Cape (1994). He also received Medasl of Honour from: The University of Pretoria (1985) and The South African Association of Arts (1989). The University of Potchefstroom honoured him with a plaque in 1978 and lastly Nelson Mandela awarded him with National Honours in Vermont in 1999. This artists work is sought after as an investment!!
