Else very good, clean and tight, in a torn dust jacket, now protectted,  that has chips on the spine and has edgewear as well but whose cover can still be appreciated. The cover includes photographs of the author, Hitler, D.F. Malan, Jan Smuts, and Herzog.

The author writes of his personal meetings with Hitler, Goebbels, Smuts, and a variety of others. He has an engaging and direct personal style. He is especially interesting in describing his surprise at the force or inexplicable charisma of Hitler's personality when he met him at a diplomatic function.

Book has now been reduced.
