Hardcover first published 1972 by Collins. the jacket is whole, with minor wear to edges, a crease the length of the spine, and several marks and smudges. The green cloth boards are clean and square, but the spine is lightly sunned. The pages are clean and unmarked. Dated dedication by the author to The Star newspaper columnist and author James Clarke on the title page. Loosely inserted in the book is an invitation card from the publisher, to an "exclusive literary coffee morning" held at the Wanderers Club 31 August 1972, where Sue Hart spoke about her life as a conservationist.
