Hardcover published  by Avon House 1969, Durban, with a hand-written limitation of copy 240 of 500 produced, signed by Fatima Meer below this.The jacket is worn, with some loss along the bottom edge, and is protected in a too small plastic cover, that has caused it to contract. Original white pictorial cloth, with several small marks along edges, brown titling and stylised image of a beetle on the front. The boards are slightly warped. 236 pages including footnotes and bibliography. Well illustrated with black and white photographs.
