KEVIN WOODS was born in Zimbabwe in 1954 and brought up in Bulawayo. He joined the Rhodesian Police Force, the BSAP, in 1972. He served with Support Unit, the BSAP's paramilitary wing, during the bush war before moving to CID and ultimately CIO, the Central Intelligence Organization. After Zimbabwean independence in 1980 he continued with the CIO before being recruited by South African Military Intelligence as a double agent. He was compromised in 1987 and sentenced to death. He was released in 2006 and, as a prohibited immigrant, moved to South Africa. He now lives in Durban.
