2015 paperback with 525 pages in secondhand condition.

Life has not been easy. I guess it is tough for everyone, but tougher because I was an institutionalized child. I was also troubled with ADHD and I found school mundane and boring, resulting in my not doing well and obtaining a poor education. Looking back, it made life even more difficult for me when I was very young in ways that I found difficult to understand. In those days, kids suffering from ADHD were simply written off as being stupid.I was always attracted to soldiering and besides it would also provide me with a roof over my head and three meals a day. I joined the Rhodesian Light Infantry, but soon became bored with peacetime soldiering. I then became an underage mercenary with 5 Commando in the Congo and served for eighteen months.Returning to Rhodesia much later, I served as a Clandestine Operator in the famous Selous Scouts. I have since obtained three University Degrees and have learned to overcome adversity the hard way.This is my story.
