The famous British sailing ship Cutty Sark is the historic tea clipper from the 19th century that was rescued and brought to British ownership in the 1920s, and is not to be confused with a private steam yacht of the same name launched in 1920.

After retiring from commercial service in the 1920s, the sailing ship was restored and has been preserved as a museum ship in Greenwich, London, since 1957
