Extremely rare copy of Long Walk to Freedom signed and dated by Nelson Mandela 14/12/94 whilst he was still President of South Africa in 1994!! 

This is the rare MacDonald Purnell edition and was signed before the official release of the book in South Africa at a special event in Johannesburg. Only 500 copies were signed and sold at the event which was by invitation only.

This is the true first edition, first printing and precedes all other editions such as the Little Brown USA or UK edition.

The book and the fully intact dust jacket are in a good condition, it has no shelf wear slight fading on the spine. Copies of this series of signed book signed books have been previously authenticated by world renowned handwriting specialist Mr Cecil Greenfield, who is considered the foremost expert in authenticating Mr Mandela's signature.
