Roelof Petrus van Wyk grew up in a conservative Afrikaans community. His artistic practice resides in the space between art and architecture and his work has been exhibited locally and internationally, most recently on Figures and Fictions at the V & A Museum, London. He holds a B. Architecture degree from the University of Pretoria (cum laude 1995).
