Limited Signed edition. Number 192/1000

1979, second edition in SA. Hard cover. 68 pages plus full page b/w photographs. Very good condition. Under 1kg. 

The Professor of the title is L B J Smith, the noted icthyologist who was first to describe the coelecanth. The author was a member of Smith's 1951 fishing expedition to the islands of Mozambique and Ibo.
