Early Signed R/Doulton 'Bunnykins' Porridge Bowl 

This very early, oval, signed, bone china child's 'Bunnykins' porridge bowl is decorated in a lovely scene that you seldom come across, featuring 'mother bunny' pushing a pram towards a 'gentleman bunny' who acknowledges her by tipping his hat. It is the early shaped, heavy oval bowl, carrying the scarce 'Barbara Vernon' signature, which was only seen on her very early pieces, and has the first 'Royal Doulton BUNNYKINS' backstamp, dating this bowl between 1937 and 1953. This super piece is in excellent condition with no crazing or wear to the decal and measures 21cm x 16,5cm, stands 4,5cm and weighs 1kg.
