VINTAGE SILENT BUTLER - STAMPED "GERMAN" ON HANDLE HOLDER.
It is 20 cm long by 13cm wide and 7cm high at the handle point.
Very pretty and useful.
Silent butler: A small receptacle with a handle and hinged cover, used for collecting ashes and crumbs.
Has fluted edging on the lid.
I found it in a junk shop very tarnished. I have cleaned the severe tarnish on the lid chemically with a silver cleaner.
