Silver and Amber Bracelet

 

The modern, chunky silver bracelet has four lozenge-shaped amber links (20mm diameter x 5.5mm thick; dark honey coloured with some inclusions); four rectangular, bowed, and grooved elements; and eight elements set with cabochon polished amber top and bottom (amber circa 4.5mm diameter; dark honey coloured). Seven of the eight elements are joined to the grooved elements by hinged joints. The eighth has a fixed joint to one of the amber lozenges and another to the fixed loop of the dog-clip and loop closure. The dog-clip is marked "925" somewhat poorly struck and is marked with "G LTD" for Goldmajor Limited; the London Silver Import mark; and "925" for sterling grade silver; all on the loop of the closure.
