Silver and Cut Crystal Inkwell

 Here we have something very special. This is a double inkwell with a small candle holder in the center. The inkwells are made of cut crystal and the stand, candle holder and the tops of the inkwells are made from sterling silver. According to the hallmarks this masterpiece was made in 1840 in Sheffield. There is an engraving on one side where it is stated that mister FI Clarke received this inkwell as a gift in the 24^th of May 1869. The crystal inkwells and all the silver are in great shape, there are a few marks that came through time but nothing serious.
