Silver and Delft Porcelain Pendant and Screw-on Drop Earrings Set

 

The vintage, 835 silver screw-on earrings each have a tear-drop shaped pendant suspended from the screw-on element. The earring pendants have tear-drop shaped Delft blue and white porcelain elements decorated with windmills, tube-set into a twist-wire surround. The porcelain is silver backed. The screw-on elements have silver beads mounted on their ends. The screw heads are marked "835" indicating that the metal is 83.5% silver.

 

The vintage, 835 silver pendant is tear-drop shaped, with a small, fixed loop and a hinged ring bale. It is set with a tear-drop shaped Delft blue and white porcelain element decorated with a windmill, tube-set in a twist wire surround. The pendant is unmarked but tests to be 83.5% silver.
