Silver brooch, two-headed eagle

A silver brooch in the form of a two-headed eagle, suggesting that the item was made in Russia (whose coat-of-arms depicted a double-headed eagle up to 1917 and again after 1993). The mark on the back looks like "BL" but there is no indication of the silver content. However, a chemical test has confirmed that the item is silver and not silver-plated. Condition good. Width 45 mm; height 32 mm.
