Silver & Enamel 'Sons of England' Royal Blue Degree Medal (1904)

 

This fine quality, heavy, sterling silver and enamel 'Sons of England' (S.O.E), 'Royal Blue Degree' medal is in excellent condition with wonderful enamel work and lovely gilding. The medal hangs from a gilded silver shield which has been engraved with the words 'G.E. LYNN P.P.,ORANGIA LODGE, No.304'. It is English hallmarked on the back for Birmingham 1902, with a maker's mark 'BMC' for 'Birmingham Medal Company'. It measures 9,5cm x 3,7cm and weighs 44,3g.
