SILVER FANTASY PATTERN SOUTH AFRICA 1936 CROWN DEPICTING EDWARD THE VIII - SCARCE!!

This is a Silver (38mm Diameter) Fantasy Pattern Crown struck to depict what various Bristish colonies coins would have looked like if Edward the VIII had not abdicated.

It is in excellent condition and looks PROOF to me!

It's "cousin" if you like the 1937 Fantasy Bronze, Copper and Silver Crown has been on sale on bid or buy every so often with claims of mintages under 100 pieces. That I do not believe as these coins seem to be available too often for that kind of mintage.

I do not know the mintage figures of the 1936 crown but believe that the mintage figures would not be very high though but certainly many more than the 100, more like 1000's. 

THE 1936 FANTASY CROWN IS DEFINATELY MORE SCARCE THAN IT'S 1937 BRONZE, COPPER AND SILVER COUNTERPARTS AND IS NOT OFTEN AVAILABLE IN SOUTH AFRICA!!

Therefore I start at the very reasonable amount of only R100.00
