Dichondra argentea is a vigorous growing vine and has a true cascading habit and is excellent for mixed containers or hanging baskets. The unique fan-shaped silver foliage cascades down providing a tropical look to any container!  It performs well as a low-growing groundcover, but requires well-drained soils. It is also well suited to being grown indoors and is very heat and drought tolerant. It is also excellent used as a groundcover.
