This silver-plated cake stand on three short legs is an extremely old item.  The centre does show signs of ware which of course adds to it's appeal and also will be covered by a doyly or another plate when cake is served on it.  It is propably Victorian and has the markings "PA & SS-1298-EPNS" stamped on the bottom.
