Silverplated Butter Dish

Up for grabs is this stunning butter dish. It is marked, but I cannot read the maker. The style is consistent with the 1950's but with silver you never know. It is in good all-round condition but needs a good polish. Approximately 15cm tall. Will compliment any table. The lid folds underneath the base as shown in the picture. Estimated retail value is around R250 to R300.

I have many other collectables on auction and will be listing a whole lot of new items from tomorrow including silver, art-glass, porcelain, copper and various collectables.

Please note the following:

Postage is only done on Saturdays and only items where payment has been received by 07h00 on the saturday morning will be sent. Once posted, I will email you the tracking number. Postage rates start from R20 but will be confirmed after the auction has closed. Rates depend on weight.

Courier rates start at R80. I prefer this option as there are far less breakages. I send out via courier daily.

Collection in Sandton (5 minutes from Sandton City) is welcome. I do need 24 hours notice though.

Payment is to be received within 5 days of the auction closing unless a different arrangement has been agreed to.  This can be discussed after the auction has closed. I am generally very lenient but get frustrated when no correspondence is received from winning bidders. I reserve the right to relist an item after 5 days if I have not had any communication with the successful bidder.

I reserve the right to close auctions within 48 hours of a bid being placed. However, with R1 N/R auctions will inevitably let them run their course.
