SimAnimals Wii

Released in 2009, SimAnimals is a life simulation spin-off from The Sims franchise that lets you manage a wild woodland ecosystem. Instead of controlling people, you use a floating, disembodied hand to interact with over 30 species of animals, including bears, foxes, and badgers.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

• The Power of Touch: Using the Wii Remote, you can pick up, move, and pet animals to build trust. Treating them well makes them friendly, while mistreating them makes them fearful.
• Environment Manipulation: You can pick up almost anything in the foresttrees, flowers, rocks, and even waterto rearrange the habitat to suit different animals' needs.
• Expansion and Discovery: Your goal is to keep animals happy enough to move into new regions. Doing so unlocks hidden areas like swamps and abandoned cabins.
• Cooperative Play: Up to four players can work together locally to manage the forest at the same time.

• Trust and Personalities: Animals develop distinct personalities based on your interactions. Befriending them is essential for solving region-specific tasks, such as encouraging beavers to build dams.
